O.K. so many of you know that I'm a big renter. I don't have extended cable (b/c in Cali its a rip-off but another story). In doing so, I've been renting a number of popular cable TV. shows. These are some I've seen that I would like to recommend:

Six Feet Under: This is a great show through out it's entirety. This def. has a dark humor incorporated with an overall downer situation(i.e.: death). I had to power through the first couple of episodes but after this, your able to get a great association with the characters and the overall tone of the show.

Rome: If your into period pieces or have a love for history or even more Shakespeare then this is very interesting. I was surprised that I liked this one but overall I think it is a great achievement considering the dificulting with such a production. They cheap out a little on the fight sequences but they feed you enough to continue.

OZ: Very graphic. I am really into this one. It is a story that revolves around a maximum penatentarary jail facility and it's inhabitants. There is a lot of NC-17 content which at times can be a little much. It is filled with conflict and dangerous situations that play out making it a high intense experience.

Weeds: When a well to do husband and father of three dies abruptly his suburinite stay at home wife must find away to provide for her family. She makes some immoral decisions endangering herself and her family. I've feel that the premise and out of place situation makes this show a unique experience. It has it's up and downs but overall a fun experience.

Dexter: I just rented this one. It's a new Showtime series starring one of the brothers from Six Feet Under. He plays a blood forensic specialist who works with crime scenes. As a young child he found he had a thirst for killing. He channels this negative trait, becomes a serial killer who hunts and punishes other serial killer's who have committed heinous crimes. Interesting, I'm def. into it, reminds me of Nip Tuck, it's very graphic with it's depiction of crime scenes involving gruesome murder scenes. Brian /Shannon I think you may enjoy this one, mainly b/c of ur love for Nip Tuck.

Big Love: Out of all these this show has grabbed my full attention leaving me waiting for the next season to hit DVD. Simply put it is about a palygamist that lives in modern society. It is extremely entertaining as well as educating one on this practice that was not to long ago normality for many.

Lost: If you have not gotten on board yet then your missing out.
