X-MAS GOODIES
So the holidays were good to me. Food, Drink, Family, and Fun........ who could ask for more. We celebrated this year at more places than ever. We had some fun at Matt/Shannon's, Gerry/ Mom's, and even Rachel/I's. We were able to host our own little holiday dinner this year. Which was hard to imagine fitting more than 8 people in our 1 bedroom apartment. But everything went great. We moved out our normal dinner table as well as our coffee table and then moved in a long card table big enough for everyone. It was some good times.
I surprised Rachel this year with a gift that she had asked for a while ago making it a perfect gift in which to surprise her with. I got her a foldable bicycle...It is really cool. Not as light as I would of imagined (35-40 lbs) but amazingly functional. It can fit in our cars, which is great b/c I hate many of the attachment devices that are used for the normal style bikes. We've gone out a couple of times since she got it and she really enjoys the conveniences. It's perfect b/c we live so close to a number of shops, grocery stores, etc.
She did a great job as well. She surprised me with a 5 Liter kegarator. (I know your jealous pops). It keeps beer or soda that can be purchased in 5 Liter drums cool and once poured tasting as if they came straight from a tap.I think we went through about 3 kegs over X-mas not including the 1 Root Beer Keg that got dusted with in two days. It's awsomeness.
So now that the fun is over. Now my pain will begin at the gym. Since I've begun working for the man I've dropped a ton of muscle managing to replace it with fat. So the New Year transition into healthy living will be difficult but fun.................not really.
I know I have talked with many of you about an isagenix cleanse that Rach and I have done in the past. It's pretty crazy yet not as crazy as some that I've heard of. Any who, were going to do it again, so I will make a great couple of posts talking about the progress, struggles, and events as they unfold. If I'm not to embarressed I'll take a before and after photo. But looking at my belly I'll prob leave the pics out.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Sounds like it was a great Christmas and many good times.
Nothing like fresh beer from a tap - beats bottle and canned beer any day of the week. Nice gift and the foldable bike sounds interesting. I'm picturing something that folds like an acordian.
The bike sounds interesting. is it more of a road bike or mountain bike? I have never even heard of this. Very cool.
I'll be interested to hear your progress with the isagenix cleanse - sounds like torture to me. Plus - word on the street is it makes your right knee bigger than your left. anyway - good luck with it!
Yeah the bike is really cool, not to mention convenient. It isn't as light as they make it sound and look. I think it weighs like 30-35 lbs. But when folded up it fits in our compact cars, which is really what I think, is useful. I can't stand those bulky bicycle holders that are made for standard bikes. When searching for a good foldable bike I found that they make a variety of models priced any where from 300-3000. Nutty. So for what we wanted I think we got a nice cheaper one. It has 6 speeds, which is cool. But overall its def. a street bike, I don't think it would survive a really long trail in any backcountry areas. I had the luck of meeting someone at work who had actually just purchased one of the same brands. They vouched for it, I guess they do like 5-mile rides and they have had very little troubles with the bike. Here's the web site. They have a cool video of the bike in action. But I will say it's easy but they make it look really easy.
