should be interesting
Im going to run a marathon in Idaho on Saturday:
I'm terribly under trained - haven't run longer than 15 miles this summer and average less than 30 miles a week. I hope it doesn't turn into a death march, i hope i can finish, i hope i don't cry like baby. My plan is to go out at a decent pace, hoping to hit the half marathon mark under 1.35, then I'll try to find a happy place to make it through the next 13 miles. happy place, happy place, happy place .. hmm .. i just realized i don't have a happy place!! .. going to be harder than i thought ;(

good luck dude. hawkeyes should win on saturday, there's a happy place. :)
Good luck, Brian. The topo map looks like at least you won't be going UP mountains, but watch out for the inclines from miles 15-16 and 21-22. I'll be interested in what Idaho looks like. Can we expect you to become featured on the race site front page here, too?
