Magic Photo
Do yourself a favor and download this plug-in (it's safe - I've checked it out). It is the coolest app I've seen in a while.
After installation viewing photos online will never be the same .. move your mouse arrow over the photo of Shannon and you'll see a 'play arrow' in the bottom left corner. Click on this play arrow and enjoy .. play around with it, moving your mouse to the left/right .. up/down .. there are 70 photos of pets/animals to enjoy!
Let me know who was successful .. if enough people open up the magic behind this photo I plan to always post photos this way.

Truely amazing! I was able to install and see all the photos originating from the one with Shannon and the turtle. Like I said you make me realize how many wonders await on the internet !!!!!
Next move is how to make it work with my photos!! I did get it to bring up my pictures but then probably need to do more reading or experimenting which I am not quite ready for.
Are all the photos yours? Love the ones of the creatures I recognize but how about some of the amazing nature shots??? Yours??
Gerry will love this. He is in Detroit playing Bridge.
Off to the gym....my mind filled with this great experience.
Yeah - I was impressed with the app, try searching on any image within google's image search. The program is more impressive when there are 100s of photos.
All the photos were taken by shannon or I on various trips.
I may try to set up the family photos at the top of mckinneytree so you can view them in the same way.
Fantastic.....I am impressed with the shots of ?whales or whatever? I have never been able to get a good even passable shot. Will look again
DUMB ?, I can hear you groaning,,,......I now have bottom of my screen....Adobe Flash player, PicLens Immersive... Where will I find them again? How do I learn how to use them? Can I put them on my desktop?
This sounds really neat, but after I down load I haven't gotten it to work. Once I'm off call I'll read the debugging instructions and follow up.
Looking forward to seeing your animal photos. Over time you might be interested in the EOL (encyclopedia of life) site.
It launched recently, and may need good images of appropriate species.

Jeff - I'm guessing it installed correctly. A better test is to try it with Google images.
http://images.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi
search for 'dog' or something and try it there. When you mouse over the images you should see a 'play' button in the left corner. Also - if you downloaded the plug in in IE explorer that's where it will work (or .. Firefox, or .. whatever).
To make my animal photos come up you can't have comments opened. You have to be at the root.

Got it...wow, this seems like an elegant application.
I think my problem was I downloaded it using Windows Internet Explorer, but I had my McKinneyTree desktop link in a Yahoo based internet access system. As long as I go through Internet Explorer, I have good piclens functionality.
You and Shannon have some stunning photos, Brian. Really beautiful.
This is really cool. I especially loved the pictures of your household and the animals you were taking care of. I really want to know how to do this with pictures, too. What is that thermometer type instrument on the amphibian like creature? -Claire
Hi Claire -
Glad you enjoyed the photos!
Shannon tells me the instrument in the photo is an ultrasonic blood flow Doppler that is used to help find a heart rate. The tiger salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum) is doing well and is one of our pets named Fritz.

We named him fritz after a character in the Dr Seuss book Oh Say Can You Say.
