Magic Whiteboard
Anyone else get more enthused about politics watching Tim Russert? Loved it when he got out the whiteboard during the Gore/Bush debacle - erasing, adding, subtracting delegate counts. You could just tell this guy loved what he did. It's a shame he won't see Obama make history.

Steven - Tim Russert died last week - he was pretty young (55 i think) so it was a shock.
Wow ya I recongnize that guy he had a good personallity and I really liked watching him when I channeled surfed ... how did he die???
Heart Attack
His death made the world news while we were on the ship. They talked about two books he authored..didn't get the titles but thought they might be interesting. Reading Barbara Walters book now which is an interesting slice about her personal and public live, including things about many of her interviews.
Kris and I were in Time Square, NY when the news about tim R. came across the ticker. We were both very shocked and sad. Niether one of us is too political, but we both enjoyed listening to what Russert had to say about politics. He really came across like an average joe, and explained things well.
