C: This was a race, photos were taken after i finished and was cooling down. I took the photo of me hopping the log just by self timing my camera and setting it on a rock.

So, was the ambulance on site for you in particular, the racers in general, or was an EMS* crew just hanging out in the middle of the woods that day?
*I work with some nurses who are also firefighters and EMS crew members. They tell me that - with the right shift - EMS really stands for "Earn Money Sleeping". But I know I'd want them there when I was in trouble.

the city is where you belong ... we have cut down millions of trees for a reason so we will never have to see a tree agian..
