best bookcase ever
OMG .. i just bought the best bookcase ever for my office.
"The antique originals kept tabs on an upholsterer's accoutrements; now they offer pride of place to treasures whimsical or sophisticated, books, drinkware, the good of a life. The handcrafted plantation-grown hardwood is painted black without, red within, rubbed to a suitably vintagey finish. Each cubby numbered, housed within antique brass cardholders."
OK - I admit the catalog description above is a bit much, "vintagey" .. um, that's a made up word. but .. they will look nice in my office.

sweet now you have room for the "everbody poops" series
Very sharp. Wood has a special feel, eh?
I've read some about some wood cases for PCs - which I think would be neat. Heat dissipation from the chips may be a problem, however.
What, exactly (in your entry), is "the good of a life"?
Can one keep "the goof of a life" in the bottom drawers? I like to get mine out now and then.
Very cool. Where did you get it?
s: It seems you have a perverse fascination with poo .. west coast runs, some made up poo in the mail story, books about poo, jokes about me smiling due to gas. May want to look into that. (but ... that everyone poop book is hilarious, there is one titled 'everyone passes gas' or something as well)
j: the description wasn't my narrative, it's a direct quote from the catalog i used to order. If I had to guess though "the good of a life" equals cool rocks found on vacation, that's what I intend to put in the "good of life" shelf. Either that or a jar of finger nail clippings, like Heather used to collect growing up. Those .. definitely the 'good of life'
c: http://www.sundancecatalog.com very cool stuff, outlandish prices (I had a mailer coupon to help with the bookcase)
no but really that book case is amazing do you have that many books that you frequently use or reference for work... i am assuming you bought it for a reason so i would guess yes you do but brian some times doesn't do things for a reason like suggest i have problems with poo
