Pinky the Turkey
A wild turkey who has roamed around with an arrow lodged in his back for more than six weeks, was captured yesterday and taken to IBRRC (International Bird Rescue Research Center) where Shannon works..

Skewered turkey finally rescued (news article link) ... The fact that the media has given the wild turkey a name is more than a little annoying to Shannon .. and that the name is Pinky, well .. that's just icing on the cake.
