Whats the story behind having this dog in your house?

S: Karl was just walking on the side of the road in front of Shannon's clinic. It was lost .. I'm guessing someone dumped it thinking that it would be taken care of by someone at the animal clinic. So .. for now, we are temporarily watching him. Shannon's allergies and our birds make it impossible to have dogs but he's sure been fun!

Karl looks like an awesome dog AND has a great name. Seems like a good find, Adam. You should jump on it!

Monday Night...

Us: Hey Brian, we really like the dog, we think we want him.

Brian: Woops, I didn't realize Shannon already found a home for him 2 weeks ago!

Us: What?? (hearts breaking)

Brian: You can have him if they don't want him

Us: Gee...thanks :(

I think Brian owes us a dog...we'll take a pug purebread with all his shots, please.

the only difference is at the end of the story I said just tell me if you want me to move you to the top of the list and Im sure Shannon can work it out .. and, they called me back to say 'meh .. we want to stay #2 on the list" .. so .. hmmm, Rach/Adam .. not exactly dog lovers if you ask me. maybe dog likers who are OK with being #2 in line for the cutest dog in the world

I thought he rubbed his butt on the carpet, pees in the house, and follows you around a little too much...best dog in the world ?!?

I think you misheard .. I meant to say he smooths out the carpet, waters the plants, and adorably follows me around so much it rules!

oh yeah - he also has this great way of coughing up a sticky sweet smelling fluid that can be used to enhance lemon tea
