Big Tex State Fair
We went to the Texas State Fair and had a great time.
It's famous for a lot of things, but here are two:Big Tex, and great fried food.

State Fairs are great!
We used to go always to the Iowa State Fair...sometimes combining it with a trip for everyone to the Dentist. I know a funny combination. But when we went to the dentist it took all day for all 10 of us to be seen.
The Ca State Fair is disappointing.... BUT I THINK STATE FAIRS ARE BEST IN "COUNTRY" LOCATIONS

Wow - Big Tex is REALLY big! I didn't realize the full scale until I noticed the Ferris Wheel in the bottom right.
