We Like IKE(a)
I think Ikea is cool. I got a chair there for my desk with Grandpa Ron and Hilda. I decided it would be a fun place to visit again with Mom, Dad and RIley.
It is huge. And it has lots of really neat designs.
I like the chairs, which they let you try out.
If you like one, you go into the warehouse to pick out yours.
Riley likes the lights section.
Dad likes the Swedish Food Cafeteria. He says, "thank god we got out of here with only a pillow and some Salmon dinner".
Nothing like a new $2 pillow on a windy blustery Texas day.

Ha!! Awesome pics .. looks like fun. We love IKEA too, well - as long as we go during the week. During the weekend where we live it's way too crowded.
I don't think we have salmon options at ours though .. hotdog on a stick, but no salmon
Do u remember the Goodyear Blimp tied up to its pole port when you came here? Ikea is located close to that. I have only been once...way too tempting LOL
Enjoyed our visit as well as the phone conversation Miss you Grama Pat
Looks really fun! We love IKEA as well - but like Brian the few near New York City get really jammed on the weekends. We've gone a few times where it is just like waiting in line for a roller coaster all the way through the store, but when you get to the end you only pay (and no ride).
We have a rule in our house (meaning I try really hard to enforce this rule on Grace) to only go 1 time a year. The last two years we have managed, but each trip has been over 10 hours long. :0
Yes, I do remember the blimp, grandma.
How big is the Ikea near you in California?
Uncle Craig, I like Ikea but even for me 10 hours is a little long.
