iphone-mania

How bout that iphone?

As a self-proclaimed 'mac fan boy', I have to say it is fantastic... AND I'll second that after I played with the display unit at the near-time-square AT&T store. It works almost as smoothly as apple's beautiful commercials declare. However, $600 bucks for a phone is nuts-o. I get that it's an ipod and you can surf the web (which is impressive).. but with a whopping 8 gigs of memory I'll say la-ti-da. I'll wait it out for the generation(s) to come that will surely have more memory and less bugs at half the price.

So, with that said, enjoy my (found) tribute to the ipod:

Oh, and as they say - don't try this at home. :)

I like how the commercials give you mini visual tutorials on how to use and what it can do?

TOTALLY, the commercials rule. I haven't seen a movie on it - in person - but it looks pretty amazing.

Dude, my iPhone rocks!

Adam McKinney:

Ya I saw one this week. I thought the GPS Feature was sweet but it sounded like to use the additional services you of course have to pay additionally. It also sounded like it has an exclusive deal with AT&T-which I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure 5 out of my 8 bills already go to that co.(PUNKS)

By the way Craig you did a great job with the site. We are extreamly impressed.

The "will it blend?" site was fun. I impressed that he appeared to liqufy the phone. I would have expected something chunkier.

NPR featured this site a few days later, and I thought, "I already know about that site, because my brother Criag is an aribiter of cultural taste". Usually, my response is, "Hmmm... [enter contemporary cultural icon here]... what are they talking about?".

My (old) Apple joke: Q: "What do you call Windows Professional?" A: "Apple 1989".

speaking of iphone (more so apple)... i just came across this news:

http://www.bbspot.com/News/2007/07/apple-store-to-being-charging-entrance-fee.html

"please pay us to buy our products. oh and by the way, we'll track you the whole time."

yet it's true, i'll poke fun but i'll still by their products. :)

Who is Zach?

zach is a buddy of mine from milwaukee, he has an iphone.

Thank God . . . I thought maybe I forgot about another offspring .
