late night ramblings from Brooklyn

dad conquers brooklyn

Dad made it out east last weekend to check out our Brooklyn pad. We managed to eat at 3 fantastic non-tourist restaurants AND fit in a few of the sights too. We snapped a couple of photos on the Brooklyn Bridge, outside my office (30 Rock) and up on the roof of our apartment. Good times had by all!

word is the sweet water restaurant is the best ever. we might have to try it out when i visit next week. word also out that you don't let people use your toilet .. dude, that's just rude.

You bet I conquered Brooklyn. Around every corner, in every subway car, thru every turnstile and in & out of the local merchants I kept saying "this is SO New York!" and of course it was, even the huge city sign at the end of the Brooklyn Bridge that says "How Sweet It Is!" I hope all of you can get the flavor of the world's greatest city by walking in the steps of Craig & Grace as they give you as much of NYC as you can absorb. You'll never forget it. (commercial now over)

Wish I could have been there

Sweatwater IS the best restaurant ever! and yes, we WILL have to try it.

PS: The toilets aren't forbidden, just pay per use. We figure this is a wash due to free lodging. ;)
