Building an Enourmous Flower Box

Just before the snow arrived this month, I built a large flower box and bench outside our bedroom window. Grace talked me into making it a foot shorter then planned (which was obviously a good thing) and I used the extra wood to build a matching bench as well. We are hoping to find some healthy vines to plant that will take over the walls and transform our cement pit into a green space.

wow, i had no idea you were handy. I just assumed since i was so 'un'handy everyone else in our family was too. In fact when i looked at photo 1 and even 2 i was like 'yeah, what does craig think he's doing - this is going to suck, he's not handy' .. but .. by photo 4 it was coming together and I was like 'what the heck - how come he is handy'

Looks great man, when the plant/vines take over it'll really improve that space. Did you stain the circle thingy (what is that thingy?) to match? .. it looks like you did .. which was a good call. Is that circle thingy just a circle thingy for the sake of being a circle thingy or does it serve some non circley function?

Brian Don't you remember the tean Craig and Kris were in Milwaukee building?
