Come quickly, I am drinking stars!

That's Outrageous !

All of a sudden, some things just stand out as "off the charts" : 1. Drake Basketball is outrageous . . . 21 straight wins, maybe a top ten ranking this week. 2. Amy Winehouse is outrageous . . . yet still wonderful. 3. Television remains outrageous when, after 10 years, COPS is still the best show. 4. Hillary's outrageous campaign stiffed Des Moines firms over $7,000 in unpaid bills when she left the state. 5. Income taxes are more outrageous than ever. 6. My outrageous venting is over & it feels good.

Awesome venting! I agree with the taxes, amy winehouse, and what is up with Hillary doing that? That should be on the national news.

Drake basketball is insane right now. The legend of Dr. Tom lives on through his son (and his recruits).

Did the Iowa Caucus bring this out? I can only imagine what that many campaign phone calls in a short period could do to a person.

If a person doesn't know Amy Winehouse, is that person living under a rock? Just wondered.

It's crowded under that rock.

Only if you're current with the rock scene, do you know she is an outrageous Brit who just stepped out of rehab & has the No.1 hit song"Rehab" which she sang in all her stoned tattooed glory on the Grammy awards show last week . She belts out a tune with unreal power & true grit , which I find entertaining .

As for Hillary's unpaid bills in Des Moines, they were mostly from a cleaning company hired to of course clean up after the mess left by traveling political crews. The poor owner of the co. was given the runaround for 3 months, but when it hit the newspaper's headlines last week, he was suddenly paid in full. That's life.

Oh, the REHAB SONG!.
Yeah, I've heard that: great hook.

Remember running aground, demasting, getting lung disease from fiberglass particles on my old Viking skow?

Yeah, me too. Look what I put a deposit on last week:

It's a 2001, so cheap; but previous owner treated her like a queen, so she's in great shape. I got her right before someone outbid me to ship it to a villa in Mexico. Score!

Here's the marina I'm joining. A great group of DYI-ers on an Army Corp Lake I found by scanning satellite images.

Can't wait to get wet; and Claire already wants to kick some ass racing. Should be fun - if we don't die.

Congrats! I knew it was only a matter of time til you got your sea legs back. Great age to get the kids started on the joys of boating the real way. . . sailing! I look at the center board (heavy steel) fondly from our first boat, hanging over my desk . If it ever falls while I'm typing, I'm dead too. My new hobby is downloading songs from our immense collection of cd's at the library (even order ones you want) onto my own cd's. I've had 3 days of flu, but still managed to limp to the computer to burn a few more.

Ha - great vent! ...and finally, the presidential race gets interesting. :)

Jeff, you should post about this new boat on your blog!
