These two very helpful hedge balls have all the answers.

how do I add videos to my blog?!

Easy.

#1. Upload your home video to youtube. They spent a ton of money making this easy so just go to their website once you have a video to upload and click the easy to find yellow upload button. The site walks you through it. Note: the video upload to youtube can take a long time, i just start the upload process and do other stuff. also - after you upload it may take another few hours before it is actually processes by youtube and available for viewing.

#2. On any youtube video you want to include in a mckinneytree blog (doesn't have to be a youtube you created) simply click on the "embed" box shown below (you'll see it next to your video). Once you click on the "embed" box the rest of the box shown in the image below becomes visible.

Now .. you can chose to show a border and pick a color for that border or not (my bird video had an orange border, my shuttle video i opted to not have a border). Don't click the "include related videos" or "enable delayed cookies" check boxes. You MUST now select the size .. click on the smallest box (340X285), it will fit within the mckinneytree structure best.

Now .. Simply copy the text exactly as it appears in the "Embed box". Just highlight it and hit "CTL-C" to copy it.

#3. Make a blog, like normal. You must now PASTE (CTL-V) the text you copied from the "Embed" box earlier. Paste it into the "Entry Body" like I did below. You can now add whatever commentary you want before the video.

Easy Peasy ... give it a whirl
