Louie Louie. Oh no, me gotta go. Yeah yeah yeah yeah...

Yankee in the Subtropics

The neighbors think all the water splashing water over the fence in late November is odd. I figure if there isn't ice on the water then the fact that it's still swimming season should be self-evident.

Nice to give the wetsuit some playtime again (last was in Long Island Sound or surfing off New Jersey).

Great shots Riley!

Jeff - so, the neighbors are already thinking 'what's up with the McKinneys?' .. nice. At first I assumed you just jumped in after work in your blue dress shirt/gloves.

Great looking pool, frankly I'd be in there all year as well. Nothing like a good cold soak after a long run.

Great pool and lay out
Great photo's Riley
Maybe you are making a positive example for the neighbors!
Sounds like the adjustment to moving has been positive
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

Looks like a great set-up. Is that a hot tub in the back too?

Jeff and Riley:

Thanks for the photo shout outs, Mom and Brian. Riley has a good eye (and hands, since the camera is still dry and functioning, right?).

Right now, without a heater, the thing in back is a COLD TUB, but it still makes the floating balls pursue biazzare orbits that amuse me while I swim laps.

In the hot months (more than 6, it appears) it is very helpful to take repeated dunks as often as possible. But, Molly and I anticipate we'll swim all year. Her beautiful black hair and webbed feet make her an excellent swimmer, and Holly lets her hop in whenever she visits from down the street. Black labs are good like that.
