San Antonio Artist Profile
Claire and Riley wanted to see San Antonio, to learn more about Alamo and Texas history. It's a fun city, with the Riverwalk, interesting history, and a great artists' district called La Villita.
We met an artist there, named Richard Conn, and bought one of his serigraphs, called "Currents".

Nice to meet the person who made the art. If you like his style, his gallery site is www.neuvagallery.com . He's done a lot of San Antonio and Jazz Festival Posters, but not all his work is in that genre.

Very nice. I think serigraph is a version of silk screening, but I'm not sure of the technique. Looks like maybe using stencils?
I couldn't get the web site to load, thinking maybe it is this one: www.nuevastreetgallery.com
I think it was like stencils, but not sure. Richard has done a lot of prints for various San Antonio festivals over the years, that seem to make 2 dimensions do amazing things.
Not sure a bout the gallery site. I can't find it right now either.
