Site of Lisa's new home
Photos taken while visiting Lisa. I was the babysitter , not Elmo, and I have learned a new skill...scrapbooking! Was a great trip and nice to see Heather's new school ( She had an open house at school) and home, along with Lisa, Adam, Anna( we would walk to the gate singing) and Ella (who you can tell any secret and she tells no one) Special treat... Craig and Grace flew in. We went shopping for Wedding outfits with Grace's Mom and Aunt.. I have never tried on sooooo many dresses in one day. Luanne (Grace's aunt) drove was a perfect personal shopper! Amazing...... I can drive in Va /Tn but only because of my GPS that is always "recalculating" as I made incorrect turns on country roads.
Gerry and I will be sailing on the Diamond Princess from San Pedro (Long Beach, Ca) on Wed Sept 19th to Hawaii. Gerry will be lecturing and running Bridge tournaments and I will be...like Vana White. I need no funny comments as I know I am not like Vana but will give it my best try since I am not a Bridge professional in any way. The trip begins with 4 days at sea then 5 Islands, 4 more sea days , one stop in Mexico and home. We will be back Oct 4.
Hope we can check in on the Mckinneytree while gone. Once again, Criag, your site rocks!

Looks like a nice family get together mom. Anna's looking big, of course not next to the tank sitting in Lisa's future home spot. That big Elmo reminds me of that famous picture of Steven when he was a youngster all dressed in white next to his BIG white bear. Anna's new jeep is probably 10X more reliable compared to my ride which is just about to retire. I can only
Your not fooling anyone. I don't believe for one second that scrapbooking doesn't come natural to someone with your talents. Not to mention the amazing personalized scrapbooks of the family cruise that we all recieved one x-mas.
That's nice that you were all able to go shopping for dresses together.I hope you have a fantastic trip, you derserve it. Call me when you get back. We'll be anxious to hear about your travels when you return.
it was great fun to get together in a new family location! can you believe how many red heads are there? the hair color dominance has shifted - just don't ask who's natural. ;)
Craig your comment made me think of a conversation that Mom and Rachel's mom were having about red hair and other recessive traits. Supposedly b/c Rachel's family has some red hair on her mother's side, and we do on our father's side, that when we decide to have a baby we could have a child with a full head of red-red hair. I don't know enough about recessive/dominate traits and what gets passed and or skipped a generation but that would be a trip considering rachel and I both have pretty dark brunette hair.
Really nice pics - and it looks like a grand time. Does Anna drive that bulldozer? She looks pretty confident on the treads there. -J
