Matt's computer is not working at the moment but while talking to him today he asked me to put a message up on the tree for/from him.

He wants to thank everyone for the support and emails he received while doing the run in San Francisco. He really appreciated everyone thinking about him. He will Blog again soon once his computer is functioning. The messages were a surprise to him as he did not know that the race people had this set up. Really neat of Brian to let us all know this was a possibility! It was fun to follow Matt's progress on line. ..... I think doing the treadmill for 40 minutes is an accomplishment. Can not even imagine the dedication of 24 Hrs!

The fires in Ca. are getting less threatening at least to us and we are all fine. PCH opened tonight which must indicate improvement of the Malibu fires and the Magic Mt fires stayed some distnce from Matt. The damage and loss to so many families is really sad and hard to take in. The San Diego area seems to have been hit the hardest.
