Claire's California Visit

A great experience having grandchildren come to visit and hopefully they had a good time seeing california stuff:) Who could resist Disneyland and all it's magic? Holly, Rachel and I along with Claire and Riley experienced a very full day in the Magic Kingdom! Photos 1,2 and 3 show Miss Claire as the princess of Disneyland.

Photos 4 and 5 are from Easter a.m. when the bunny found the colored plastic eggs of the past and we had an organized egg hunt. One ,Two, Three: remember your colors to hunt for as you should end up with 41. Think all of you know the game. That is my children should remember the drill!

Photo 6 is Claire becoming a surfer girl....NICE BOARD...GREAT GIRL:)

Photo 7 was from our trip to the aquarium in Long Beach and Photo 7 from the La Brea Tar Pits Museum.

Claire really should say...... but I wonder if photos 9-13 may have pictured her favorite time ...Venice beach. Actually after picking up at the air port we drove over the bridges of Venice a very sweet rendition of Venice, Italy right here in Ca but these were taken at Venice Beach where uniqueness is the correct mode and we saw the artists (sand sculpture) as well as the famous jester rollar blader playing his guitar but most important was seeing Claire dance in the sand and play with the waves.

The visit will long stay in our memories as we now see the image of the each days activities and we smile.

Hats off to Holly! Much thanks to Holly who is the great Mom and traveled with children (who by the way were very special kids) even with a broken foot happening minutes prior to going to their flight. Well....that,s another story and my next post will be about Riley.

Mom I FINISHED MY ART PROJECT I knoq you have been waiting for ever. Maybe I'll bring it over today when matt picks me up

Claire says: great pictures, I especially like the picture where you wrote my name in the sand on the beach.

Riley says: this is the beach where I took my first steps in my cast.

Jeff says: beautiful pictures, Mom. Nice memories all around.

Claire....Loved the name in the sand too. Your Dad actually gave me the idea. He went to Malaysis as an exchange student and He knew I was missing him so he wrote his name in the sand far away and sent me a photo. I miss you but we had so much fun together.

Riley...I will use your photos next for a blog....watch for it! Yes...we were all so excited that you walked in the sand. A real lesson for us all...not to let difficulties stop us from doing something we want to do! See you soon.

Jeff Always appreciate your Blogs. It was wonderful to have Holly and the kids. Tell us more about your boat. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
