Happy pre-Birthday and pre-Holidays - have a great trip!

Air Tahati Nui was a neat carrrier
Have a neat hotel Sheraton but ate last night at the Intercontinuental which was really a cool place...dinner served in the Lotus room in a hut on the water. We have a great view of the lagoon and did an 80 mile circle island drive yesterday. Saw the tallest waterfall. Flowers are fantastic but birds few. Have met some other cruise people who have been really nice one from Rosemead Ca a speaker on Martime History Going to explore the town area today and maybe an aquarium. Gogaun (SP?) museum was very disappointing...all mock up copies and supposedly put up by Singer. Black sand beaches are neat..caused by volcanic formation of these Islands. Working out on treadmill here...these machines are all calculated differently 15 elevation 6.5 speed and I still was not running in 30 minutes burnt 546 calories?????

So, when do you guys return from your trip?

This was our last port today....3 days at sea....all of which we work BRIDGE and I have a new scoring program which keeps me busy. Still having problems of overload on the MAC....Frustrating!

Lots of neat local craft stuff

Saw a Boa in the wild within inches...our guide said very quietly but calmly to me "Don't move!" My hand was within 10 inches from it's face...think I got a great photo also frogs and a sloth all in the rain forest...neat stuff....also monkeys...bird nests by orieos (not the cookies) They are amazing...huge...the male makes the nest and attracts with the best nest a females who approves of him because of his nest building skills
