Digging digging digging
I've been doing some earth moving work, in our back yard.
Here is the site beforehand - our pool.
Here is the site after we removed the pool and I'm making a new garden.
I wonder if I'll find any cool rocks if I keep digging (see Claires blog).

What a great place to dig! I love to dig - digging for dirt is my favorite because it's so easy to find! Please take a picture this spring of the same spot after you have planted your garden .. i think you should plant corn and tomatoes.
You/Claire are lucky you posted yesterday - you were both 1 day away from being banished like Heather/Lisa!
Merry Christmas to you and everyone in St Louis!
Riley - you look like a natural shovel jedi.
After consulting with the Jedi Council, many garden ideas were discussed. The Jedi Council sees a Wheel Herb Garden as the future of your wonderfully prepared plot.
Ya it's pretty amazing what it looks like underneath those above ground pools when you take them down. But a garden is a perfect idea since there's no grass growing back any time soon. I had a buddy that had an extreamly hard time getting grass to grow back after he got rid of his.
I have to second Brian's vote for corn. There's nothing like growing and then reaping the rewards of some hard work outside.
I heard through the grapevine that you and Claire may be visiting in the future. Rachel and I will make a point to mabee get a day off of work so we'll all be able to spend some time together. We would love for the two of you to see our place.
Keep diggin Riley!
Thanks, Brian, Kris and Adam, for your posts to my blog. I enjoy reading them. Yours truly, Riley.
so, are you STILL digging? soon you could make your own in-ground pool! though a garden sounds much more rewarding. keep us posted!
