I didn't glide as much as I should, but for my first day skateboarding, I think things are going well. I learned that balance is key.

When you can only see the black on my dad's sweatshirt, he's TOO CLOSE to me taking the film. I had to step back on that next to last curve he cut.

I just recently started learning skateboarding too. The key is to get confidence on smooth ground before you hit the side walk. Also don't be self conscious about jumping off the board if you get a feeling you wont make the next bump in the pavement.
I'm most impressed with Jeff .. I didn't know old dogs could learn new tricks.
