Race Videos
I had a chance to race my pine wood derby car. Claire and Dad shot some videos. My car is the black one.
I had 6 races. Here they are in order. My car's name was "Lightning Bolt".
I'm watching the races by the track, in my scout shirt without a neckerchef, just to the left of the guy in the orange shirt.
The finish line is pretty high tech: with sensors and lights to show rank order.

Here I am with my friend. He was last year's champion racer and is a great guy,
It was a good night. We said we were happy no matter how the actual race went, because we learned a lot just by making the car.

Pine wood derby cars are a real challenge but your accomplishments were really neat to see!
We are currently finishing a 2 week cruise LA Mexico LA Mexico....remember taking you and Claire out in a glass bottom boat:) Gerry teaching Bridge, I am helping and preparing for face painting as later in the year I have 2 jobs aboard the Mariner.
