Pinewood Derby - take 2
I recently finished my pinewood derby car.
This year I did better than last year because now I can go to the district finals.
My design was based on an airfoil, and I made the car myself.

Such a sweet design! .. and fast! Did you weight the car down with any lead (BBs)? I remember that being something kids did when I was making these cars .. drilling holes in the bottom and putting in something to make it heavier.

Great design and you won! I really liked doing this when I was younger, but my cars only looked nice - they rarely made it down the ramp.
Uncle Craig, how could you car not even make it down the ramp?!
Even the ghost cars (not really made, just uncut blocks on wheels) get to the bottom!
Uncle Brian, at districts my car got third every time, so it didn't advance. But it was against the whole town, and so the cars were all pretty fast.
