Things I Learned How to do This Summer

I had a HOT, but interesting summer. THis summer I learned how to do a few new things, including:

Airbrushing, taught by this artist in his studio:

Building a super fast remote car, taught by a Texas Instruments electronics expert:

Sailing Solo on a Sunfish, withOUT dad telling me to "Push, Push, Push the rudder!; No, Pull, Pull, Pull the rudder!":

And, learning how to golf, when we were in Portland, between eating blackberries on the side of the fairways and trying my best chip shot - which still needs some work:

Fun times.

looks like an awesome summer! .. (and some really great photos).

Someday I'll challenge you to a round of golf (i stink) .. and, i hope to try out your sailboat soon (next summer hopefully).

What did you do to the car to make it extra fast?

Did you paint something specific?

First, I am still bad at golf. We could see who is worst.

Second, it's not my sailboat, but I bet dad will let you on.

Third, the car was just made fast, although - not to brag - I'm a pretty good driver.
Also I modified the car with a front spoiler made of lexan, that I bought from my teacher. Our cars were used in contests to flip the other car or make it so it was immobile. For pictures of other cars, called war bots, see this site:

Fourth, I painted a fish using a stencil and the airbrush. Also I painted a skyline, with a lot of help from my teacher.

I love the War Bots!! .. that sounds awesome fun!

I think this design is smart, (not very pretty but smart) .. looks like it would be difficult for another car to knock this one over.

You're right, it is almost impossible to flip over.
But mine is a lot faster and fishtails at high speed, on accident.
