Great poster, but you can't say "where the waves meets ", should be:" where the waves meet". Wish I lived near a pier on the ocean. I'd park as close as possible & put on my car light show after dark while listening to the waves crashing in. I'm not sure what a Beach Bum is, but if I were a kid again, I might be one. Scary, huh?
Ah- the dreaded "of", and its impact on noun verb agreement. That rule still trips me up, too. While we're on grammar, a patient's relative commended me for the correct use of "lie" down vs "lay" down in the ER last week (and dressed down the med student's incorrect usage). However, I had to admit to the student that my word choices at midnight are lucky at best. Perhaps from now on I'll say "would you please RECLINE so I can check your abdomen?".
I really like the microphone coming out of the sky. The tie in to the (real?) archway works well for me, too.
My eyes seem to track around the image in an interesting and productive manner: "HMMM...What's this mic? Oh, hip hop. And look, it's free. Apparently it's down by the Harbor." I don't know when, yet - but maybe one of those blue bubbles can be stamped with a particular time as needed (and then you aren't stuck with outdated posters on your first printing run if the DJs stiff you).

What exactly is an urban hip hop show? I searched youtube and this song was 1st on the list: Urban Hip Hop?
