Got out last night
So like I told you I've been going to Daniels Place.. really been putting myself out there with people trying to get to know the regulars and it worked out nicely got invited to a movie with a group that usually goes out together 2 couples that meet at daniels place ended up just chillen at one of the girls house and watching a movie but it was nice to get out... seems like i've been isolated for a long time now.
Go man, go. I'm impressed.
I still find cold-call socializing a challenge - but now and then it turns up a real gem of an interaction that grows over time. And even if that doesn't always pan out, it's still good for the soul to just hear others' perspectves now and then.

Sounds like a fun night out man, way to take the chance. The more you do open yourself up the easier it will get to strike up conversations with anyone... just ask Adam. ;)
Great to hear .. sometimes it's the small connections that I think make the difference.
I've always been kind of a loner myself - I think some people are just happier that way. It sounds like one thing you've been able to do recently is be content with yourself, which is pretty cool too.

Do you remember how scared I was when I signed up at "Great Expectations"? Like I needed a cell phone, didn't want anyone knowing my address and I remember asking you and Adam....question question question. Adam surely remembers driving over here to the Palisades to Check out Gerry prior to my meeting him to see ART.
Everyone has some challenges with "meet and greet":
Gerry reports out as well that he was hesitant meeting. He too is quiet but he put himself out as did I.
We admire you.../.not easy BUT you have the courage and you are a neat guy with a neat personality.
