Acrylic Design Project
For this project we were to design based on a event. The event was our choice and suppose to be developed out of our imagination. After a look of set backed and revisions. I am pleased to say that I really think my final revision looks professional and I am very happy with the final result.
My event is a place in the community, it could be your community, but mine takes place in Santa Monica. The event is a place where the city of Santa Monica has set aside about 1 acre of land designed for a public garden. This garden is going to be community driven and supported. What makes this event so special is the fact that there is a raffle. If you win the raffle you get a spot in the 1 acre to plant what ever you want. This is still a community garden, but what makes this so exciting is that the community will be given spaces to decide what ever they dream up in the way of plant life.
So call quickly because the raffle ends this week.

I think your raffle/garden idea is a really nice one, Steven. We recently gave some of our garden to our neighbors to use (who lack enough sun in their yard to grow much), and it's been a great joint venture.
I recently heard about a program called plant a row for the hungry. It might mesh with your ideas, too.
