Fish Tank Update
I got 10 neon tetra's a school fish.
I got 2 frogs although I can never find them because they are very small and they like to hide and don't move as much as I would like.
The other fish: I have 2 tiger bars. But they are not in the video. One may be the yellow one, but the other one is MIA at the moment.
And 2 angle fish. One is a bit aggressive, the other more laid back, only one in this video.
The hardiest thing in taking a video is to get all the fish. I don't know if it's because they are tired or if they just like to hide. When you start getting more and more fish, you seem to lose track of some and they tend to hide in plants or behind shells.

Actually one of the frogs made it in the video. If you look closely you can see him. He is under the plant in the right hand corner. He is brown and sort of blends in with the rocks. You probable wont be able to see him unless you new he was there.
Your tank now looks like a little "community" . Those super green plants are so perfect, they don't look real, maybe they are not. The school of tetras move together in a wave motion that keeps your eyes busy following them which I like , and of course your source for shells came up with some beauties. The best part of fish tanks is that you design, plan, stock and maintain an environment of creatures that give lots of pleasure while never disappointing . I've just about talked myself into starting one here.
yea dad, I think you should start one up... its very easy and its something nice ... also sounding like a water fountain at times because of the filter
Your fish tank looks great. Nice job building it up step-by-step. It's been fun to watch it develop over time.
I especially like your neon tetras. I find schooling behaviors an amazing thing. We went to an Omnimax film, called Wild Ocean (film site link via http://www.wildoceanfilm.com/ ) recently, about the fish migrations along the SE corner of Africa. It that had some amazing underwater shots of schooling.
oh man .. i wish you'd hurry up and come for a visit so I could take you to the fish store with me.
I still can't see your frog though :-(
